About the Program

The Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS), launched by DPIIT under the Startup India initiative with an outlay of INR 945 Crore, supports startups in proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, and market entry. The scheme aims to bridge the early-stage funding gap and strengthen startup ecosystems across Tier-II and Tier-III regions in India.

In 2021, Startup India and Invest India selected Atal Incubation Centre - BIMTECH under SISFS, allocating INR 5 Crore to provide financial assistance and incubation support. Over 8100+ startup applications were evaluated, supporting 61 promising startups through funding, mentorship, and ecosystem support.
