The Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS), launched by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) with a pan-India outlay of INR 945 Crore, provides essential financial support to early-stage innovators for validation, prototyping, and market launch.
In 2021, Atal Incubation Centre - BIMTECH was selected by Startup India and Invest India as an empanelled incubator under SISFS with an allocation of INR 5 Crore. Our incubation committee evaluated over 8,100+ startup applications, successfully supporting 61 breakthrough startups with capital grants, convertible debentures, and industry scale-up mentorship.

Empanelled Partners
Backed directly by Startup India, DPIIT, and the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
Eligibility Criteria
DPIIT-recognized startups incorporated within the last 2 years at the time of application, with innovative ideas suitable for PoC or trials.
Sector Agnostic
Open across all technology domains including Agritech, Healthtech, Clean Energy, Deeptech, SaaS, AI/ML, and Consumer Innovations.
Funding Scope
Grant support up to ₹20 Lakhs for PoC/prototypes, and Investment support up to ₹50 Lakhs for market scale-up.
Financial Instrument
Non-repayable milestone grants (up to ₹20L) and Compulsorily Convertible Debentures (CCDs) or debt instruments (up to ₹50L).
AIC-BIMTECH Handholding
Selected incubatees receive dedicated 1-on-1 mentorship, legal compliance support, corporate pilot access, and state-of-the-art co-working access.

Register on the Startup India portal and receive your official DPIIT Certificate of Recognition.
Create SISFS Profile & Apply
Log in to the official SISFS portal and select Atal Incubation Centre - BIMTECH as your preferred incubator.
Submit Business Model & Pitch Deck
Detail your product innovation, target market size, intellectual property, and specific budget breakdown.
Incubation Committee Pitch & Evaluation
Shortlisted founders present their pitch live before the AIC-BIMTECH Seed Fund Committee.
Agreement & Milestone Disbursement
Approved startups execute legal agreements and receive tranches based on predetermined milestones.
