About MSME Idea Hackathon
Launched by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, the MSME Idea Hackathon is a flagship national innovation movement aligned with the vision of “Viksit Bharat @2047.” The program invites creative thinkers, students, startups, and MSME units to transform impactful concepts into scalable technological and manufacturing solutions.
Selected innovations receive financial assistance of up to ₹15 Lakhs per idea for prototyping, product development, testing, and commercialization through designated Host Institutes (HIs) such as AIC-BIMTECH.
AIC-BIMTECH as Approved Host Institute (HI)
AIC-BIMTECH provides shortlisted startups with lab facilities, mentor networks, IP assistance, business modeling support, and milestone governance throughout the grant cycle.

Select Host Institute
Choose Atal Incubation Centre - BIMTECH as your preferred HI on the MSME portal.
Choose Category
Register under Student, MSME, or Innovator / Others category.
Submit Proposal
Upload problem statement, solution concept, budget requirements, and prototype roadmap.
Pitch & Incubation
Present before the HI selection jury, receive grant recommendation, and onboard into incubation.
MSME Idea Hackathon Screening & Cycles
AIC-BIMTECH conducts regular evaluations as an approved Host Institute. Innovators and entrepreneurs are encouraged to keep their proposals ready for upcoming hackathon cycles announced on the official Ministry of MSME portal.
