1. Google AI Day for Startups
The Google AI Day for Startups, hosted by AIC-BIMTECH on 9th July 2025, brought together 100+ founders, investors, and Google engineers for knowledge sharing, hands-on learning, and networking.
The event featured discussions on Generative AI, AI agents, multimodal systems, and commercialization, along with codelabs and live demos using Gemini, Gemma, Vertex AI, and AI Studio. The program also highlighted Google’s startup support through mentorship, cloud credits, and go-to-market assistance, strengthening AI-driven innovation and entrepreneurship.
2. DPS Gr. Noida Field Visit to AIC-BIMTECH
AIC-BIMTECH welcomed students of Delhi Public School, KP-V, Greater Noida (W) for an engaging session on the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurship.
The visit introduced students to innovation, problem-solving, and the journey from ideas to impactful ventures through experiential learning and expert insights. The session inspired young minds to embrace creativity, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial thinking, reinforcing the vision of nurturing future changemakers.
3. Delegation from the UAE-India CEPA Council (UICC) visited AIC-BIMTECH
As the sixth stop of the UAE–India Start-up Series Roadshow, AIC-BIMTECH hosted a high-impact session to advance cross-border collaboration under the UAE–India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The event brought together key stakeholders from both nations to empower Indian start-ups with global access and opportunities within the UAE’s innovation ecosystem.
MoU Signing Details:
A strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the UAE–India CEPA Council (UICC) and Atal Incubation Centre–BIMTECH. Mr. Ahmed Aljneibi, Director of UICC, and Mr. Surya Kant, CEO of AIC-BIMTECH, formalized the partnership during the session. This collaboration aims to support Indian start-ups in scaling internationally through access to UAE-based incubation programs, market entry support, global investor networks, and strategic mentorship.
The event also included an insightful briefing on the CEPA Start-up Series by Mr. Aljneibi, an unveiling of the program trailer, and an engaging Q&A session with participating founders. Notable dignitaries present included Ms. Laetitia Warjri and Mr. Abhishek Ranjan from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who joined discussions on strengthening India-UAE innovation ties.
4. Webinar on the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS)
The Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS), launched in 2021, supports early-stage startups with funding for product development, prototyping, market entry, and commercialization.
The initiative promotes innovation and entrepreneurship, while incubators like AIC-BIMTECH support startups through mentorship, infrastructure, and networking opportunities.
5. Driving Innovation and Diversity: Highlights from AIC-BIMTECH’s Startup Support
The webinar highlighted AIC-BIMTECH’s growth and startup support, from 17 startups in 2018 to 427 in 2024–25. Key achievements included 174 awards, 105 funded startups, and 5,000+ jobs created.
The Prarambh Cohort received 3,001 applications, with 54% women-led startups, primarily across AI, ML, and IoT. The session also emphasized AIC-BIMTECH’s sector-agnostic approach and global engagement.
6. Startup Chile – BIG Accelerator Program (Global)
The Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) at BIMTECH, Greater Noida, hosted Start-Up Chile’s first International Roadshow in India on September 22, 2025, featuring the Startup Chile – BIG Accelerator Program (Global).
The exclusive session highlighted opportunities for start-ups to access equity-free funding, global incubation, and scale-up support, with a focus on expanding into the South American market via Chile. The Chilean delegation included Amparo Paredes (Chief Marketing Officer), Jorge Loyola Castro (Chilean Trade Commissioner to India), and Nicolás Muñoz (Consul of Chile in New Delhi). The interactive event reaffirmed AIC BIMTECH’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, providing global exposure, and creating pathways for international collaboration and growth for start-ups.
7. Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 at DPS Gr. Noida
AIC - BIMTECH conducted an outreach visit to DPS Knowledge Park-V, Greater Noida, as part of their initiative to mentor and inspire young innovators for the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025. This nationwide innovation movement, launched by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, aims to nurture creativity and problem-solving among students.
During the interactive session, students were guided to ideate and develop prototypes under four national themes — Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, Vocal for Local, and Samriddh Bharat — reflecting the vision of a self-reliant and progressive India.
AIC-BIMTECH extends heartfelt gratitude to the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Government of India, for their continued support in empowering young minds and strengthening the nation’s innovation ecosystem.
8. Gen Next Founders Connect 2025
Gen Next Founders Connect 2025 marked another milestone in strengthening the early-stage startup ecosystem. With the participation of 70+ startups, multiple investors, dedicated volunteers, and the AIC-BIMTECH team, the program delivered a high-impact platform for learning, networking, and collaboration.
The event began with a warm welcome address, followed by the much-anticipated reverse pitching session, where investors outlined their investment focus, evaluation criteria, and expectations from early-stage founders. This distinctive format offered founders valuable clarity and set the tone for meaningful, insight-driven discussions.
The interactive Q&A, open networking, and one-on-one conversations further enriched the experience, enabling founders to directly engage with investors, understand market expectations, and explore potential opportunities.
9. How to Build a Unicorn: Founder's Session
AIC-BIMTECH hosted a high-intent founder session with Expert Dojo, bringing together startup founders for an engaging discussion on innovation, scalability, and founder-led impact.
The session featured Brian Mac Mahon (Founder & Managing Partner) and Ashutosh Kumar Jha (CEO & General Partner at Expert Dojo), who shared insights on India’s entrepreneurial potential and the importance of building resilient, problem-focused startups. The interaction highlighted India’s emerging role in shaping the next phase of global entrepreneurship.
10. Foundation Day
The 9th Foundation Day of AIC-BIMTECH celebrated nine years of fostering innovation, empowering visionary founders, and strengthening India’s startup ecosystem.
The event featured the felicitation of outstanding startup founders by Mr. Surya Kant and Mr. Ravi Shorewala, recognising their entrepreneurial spirit and contributions to innovation-led growth. Bringing together key stakeholders and ecosystem partners, the celebration reaffirmed AIC BIMTECH’s commitment to building founders and ventures that drive a Viksit Bharat.
11. Tathagat Innovest 2026
AIC-BIMTECH organised Tathagat Innovest on 12 March 2026, a platform focused on strengthening collaboration among industry, academia, government, and the startup ecosystem. The event also hosted the India Edition of the Startup World Cup pitching session.
Inaugurated by Dr Nalin Kumar Srivastava (MeitY) and Mr Prateek Deshmukh (Atal Innovation Mission), in the presence of Mr Surya Kant (CEO, AIC-BIMTECH) and Dr Shalini Singh (Chairperson, CIED, BIMTECH), the event brought together 300+ participants including startups, investors, policymakers, incubators, academia, and industry leaders through startup showcases, knowledge exchange, and investor connect.
MeitY Startup Hub GENESIS EIR 2.0 Grants
During Tathagat Innovest 2026, AIC-BIMTECH felicitated six emerging startups from small towns supported under the MeitY Startup Hub’s GENESIS EIR 2.0 grant: Doctigo, ZK Labs, Technite, Punha Prosthetic, Naikroop Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and Fettle.
The recognition celebrated their entrepreneurial journeys and highlighted the growing impact of grassroots innovation, resilience, and technology-driven solutions across India.
India Edition of Startup World Cup (Pegasus Tech Ventures, USA)
A key highlight of Tathagat Innovest 2026 was the India Edition of the Startup World Cup, organised globally by Pegasus Tech Ventures, USA, and hosted for the first time by an Indian incubator at AIC-BIMTECH.
With 100+ applications, the top 25 startups pitched before a 16-member jury, with Smalblu Technologies, founded by Garv Goyal, emerging as the India Regional Winner. The startup will advance to the Global Grand Finale in San Francisco in November 2026, competing for a $1 million prize.
Tathagat Innovation Corridor Roundtable
Another key engagement was the Tathagat Innovation Corridor roundtable, bringing together 25+ representatives from incubators, industry, startups, investors, and academia to discuss collaborative initiatives for strengthening the regional innovation ecosystem, aligned with Viksit UP 2047 and Viksit Bharat 2047. The event was supported by AIC-BIMTECH startup Reskill, founded by Mr Punit Jain.
12. Pitchathon – North India Edition
AIC-BIMTECH, in collaboration with WISETECH, SPJIMR, hosted the Pitchathon – North India Edition on 23 September 2026, bringing together aspiring entrepreneurs, innovative ideas, mentors, and members of the startup ecosystem.
The event provided a vibrant platform for participants to present their entrepreneurial ideas, showcase innovative solutions, and receive valuable insights and perspectives from experienced experts. The Pitchathon reflected the creativity, problem-solving capabilities, and entrepreneurial spirit of the participating innovators.
Guest of Honour:
We were honoured to have Mr. Santosh Kumar, Director, WISETECH, SPJIMR, as the Guest of Honour. His presence and insights added significant value to the event and encouraged participants to pursue their entrepreneurial journeys with greater confidence and purpose.
The event was a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and the spirit of entrepreneurship, reinforcing the importance of creating platforms that help emerging innovators transform ideas into meaningful impact.
