28 May 2019, Greater Noida: Atal Incubation Centre- BIMTECH (AIC-BIMTECH), Greater Noida recently closed the fundraising for its three incubatees, namely, Energinee Innovations, ProBano and Uneako, led by Givfunds. These start-ups owners are ready to take on their corporate social responsibilities as aware and socially driven entrepreneurs.

Givfunds organisation lends low-cost loans to South Asian social enterprises. Their ecosystem-level approach and tech-enabled processes help them unlock sustainable capital for social enterprises to create greater impact and to change lives. They have so far given 11 loans with 100% repayment rate and through this, they have been able to impact 857 people till date.

Energinee Innovations is creating eco-friendly products, by using the ash generated from the burning incense sticks in temples to create craft items. The ash is usually dumped in the rivers which are very harmful to aquatic life. Mr Aakash Singh, founder of this social start-up has provided employment to jail inmates by training them to make beautiful sculptures from this ash. He looks forward to using this fund to give employment to more jail inmates as well as working on new moulds and designs.

ProBano provides online and offline career guidance to high school students through an innovative, technology backed and affordable platform. Mr Aditya Bose, founder, ProBano, wishes to expand his customer base in CSR initiatives such as Wipro foundation, Bharati Foundation, Nalco CSR, etc. He wants to conduct offline career guidance programs with government schools in rural areas across India in states of Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Rajasthan and Karnataka. He also aspires to develop this technology for different parts of the country in vernacular for the students in rural areas.

Uneako works at providing 100 percent bio-degradable and environment friendly stationary and gifting products. Mr Ankit Tripathi, Co-founder, Uneako is excited, to start his “Jail Project”, wherein he will use the funds for training jail inmates to build their eco-friendly products. Through this project, Mr Ankit also wants to ensure that the inmates start receiving income for themselves and their family members.
